Terms of Service

These terms set out the conditions under which CVN provides moving, furniture assembly, and transport services. Please read these terms before ordering services.

1. General Terms

These terms apply to all services provided by CVN, including moving, furniture assembly, transport, and other logistics services in Latvia. By ordering CVN services, you agree to these terms.

2. Service Description

CVN provides moving, furniture assembly, and transport services based on the information you provide about the scope of work, addresses, and other important conditions. The exact scope of services and method of execution is agreed with the client before starting work.

3. Client Duties

To ensure quality service provision, the client must comply with the following duties:

  • Provide correct and complete address information
  • Ensure free access to the object and work site
  • Be available or provide an authorized person during work hours
  • Inform about special conditions (stairs, elevators, narrow doors, etc.)
  • Ensure that all furniture parts and instructions are available during assembly
  • Inform about any dangerous or fragile items

4. Liability Limitation

CVN assumes liability only for damage that arises directly from the actions or errors of CVN employees during service provision.

CVN is not responsible for:

  • Damage that existed before service provision
  • Manufacturer defects or missing parts in furniture or equipment
  • Damage arising from incorrect information or unavailability
  • Damage arising from force majeure circumstances

All CVN work is insured. If damage occurs that is CVN's responsibility, we assume liability in accordance with insurance terms.

5. Payments

The service price is determined depending on the scope of work, complexity, and required time. The price is agreed with the client before starting work. Payment terms are agreed individually for each order. Usually payment occurs after service provision, unless otherwise agreed.

6. Force Majeure

CVN is not responsible for service non-performance or delay if it occurs due to force majeure circumstances, such as natural disasters, war, strikes, government decisions, or other circumstances not under CVN's control.

7. Dispute Resolution

All disputes arising in connection with these terms or services provided by CVN are resolved in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Latvia. The courts of the Republic of Latvia are competent for dispute resolution.

8. Final Terms

CVN reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Updated terms take effect from the moment of their publication. Please review these terms periodically. If you continue to use CVN services after term changes, this is considered acceptance of the new terms.
